further to amend the Uttar Pradesh Municipalities, Notified Areas and Town Areas (Alpakalik Vyavastha)Adhiniyam, 1977 and the Uttar Pradesh Urban Local Self-Government Laws (Third Amendment) Act, 1978.

IT IS HEREBY enacted in the Thirty-first Year of the Republic of India as follows:—:

t I) This Act may be called thefl Uttar Pradesh Urban Local Self- Government Laws (Amendment) Act, 1980.

(2) It .shall be dee tyrd to have :Druz i Ito force on September 27, 1980.

2. In section 2 olthe Uttar Pradesh Municipalities, Notified Areas and I own Areas (Alpakalik Vyavastha) Adhiniyam, 1977, hereinafter referred to as the principal Act, for the word and figures "September 30, 1980" wherever occurring, the word and figures "December 31, 1981" shall be sithstituted.

..,, In section 3 of the principal Act, for the word and figures "Septem- ber 30, 1980", the word and figures "December 31, 1981" shall be substituted.

4. In section 24 of the Uttar Pradesh Urban Local Self-Gavernmen t Laws (Third Amendment) Act, 1978, for the word and figures "September 30, 1980", the word and figures "December 31, 1981" shall be substituted.
