Areas (Alpakalih Vyavasaza) Adhiniyam, 1977 and the Uttar Pradesh
Urban Local Self-Government Laws (Third Amendment) Act, 1978
IT Is HEREBY enacted in the Thirtieth Year of the Republic of India as
follows :- •

, I. This Act may be called the Uttar Pradesh Urban Local Self-Government

2. In sections 2 and 3 of the Uttar Pradesh Municipalities, Notified Areas Amendment of

rise 4. (1) The Uttar Pradesh Municipalities, Notified Areas and Town
A Areas (Alpakalik, Vyavastha) (Sanshodhan) Adhyadesh, 1979, is hereby
• repealed.
(2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken
under the Act referred to in section 2, as amended by the said. Adhyadesh shall
be deemed to have been done or taken under the corresponding provisions of
.the said Act as amended by this Act, as if the provisions of this Act were in
force at all material times.
