further to amend the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973
IT Is HEREBY enacted in the Twenty-ninth Year of the Republic of India as
follows :-
1. This Act may be called the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Deve-
lopment (Amendment) Act, 1978.
Amendment of
section 59 of Pre-
sident's Act
no. XI of 1973 as
re-enacted by
U. P. Act no. 30
of 1974.
Repeal.
2. In section 59 of the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development
Act, 1973, in sub-section (14), for the word and figures "December 31, 1977",
the word and figures "December 31, 1979" shall be substituted.
3. (1) The Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development (Amendment) t.t.i.!
Ordinance, 1977, is hereby repealed. Dance A

) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under
the Act referred to in section 2 as amended by the said Ordinance shall be deemed
to have been done or taken under the corresponding provisions of the said Act
as amended by this Act as if this Act had come into force on December 30, 1977.
