ACT 16 OF 2007 * 11-IE KERALA FINANCE (No 2) ACT, 2007 An Act to g1ve effect to the jinanc1al proposals of the Government of Kcrala for the financzal year 2007-08
Preamble -WH~RI:AS, 1t 1s exped1ent to amend the Kerala Tax on Paper Lottenes Act, 2005, to gtve effect to the financtal proposals of the Government ofKcrala for the Fmancral Year2007-08;
B[ 1t enacted m the f1fty-e1ghth Ycdr of the Republic oflnd1a as follows:-
1 Short tztle and commencement -(1) Th1s Act may be called the Kcrala Fmance (No. 2)Act, 2007.
(2) It shall be deemed to have come mto force on the 1st day of Apnl,2007.

2 Amendment of Act 20 of 2005 -In the Kerala Tax on Paper Lottcncs Act, 2005 (20 o.f2005), m sub-sectiOn (1) of scct10n 6,-
.
(1) m clause (a), for the words "Ten lakh rupees ... the words "F1ftcen lakh rupees, shall be substituted,
(n) m clause (b), for the words "Two lakh fifty thousand rupees" , the words .
"F1ve lakh rupees" shaH be substituted
