Date of Publication दी 2 THE SHRI GOVINDAJI TEMPLE (SECOND AMENDMENT) दि, 2300 AN BILE-A Q- further to amend the Shri Govindaji Temple Act, 1972 (Manipur Act No. 12 of 1972). BE it enacted by the Legislature of Manipur in the Fifty-first Year of the Republic of India as follows :— 1. Short fitle and commencement:— (1) This Act may be called the Shri Govindaji Temple (Second Amendment) Act, 2000. (2) It shall come into force on such date as the State Governmenf may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint. 2. Substitution of the title of the Act:— In the Shri Govindaji Temple Act, 1972 (hereinafter referred to as the Act), for the words “Shri Govindaji” in the title of the Act and wherever it occurs, the words ““Shri Shri Govindaji” shall be substitufed. 3. Amendment of section 4:— In section 4 of the Act— (i) in sub-section (1), for the words “nine other members”, the words “twelve other members” shall be substituted; (i) in sub-section (4), for the words “The State Government shall #ppeint the other nine members”, the words “The State Government shall, in such manner as may be prescribed, appoint twelve other members” shall be substituted.
