ENACTED BY THE PRESTDENT IN THE SEVENTEENTH YEAR OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDIA,

An Act to continue the Aerala Esse11tial Articles Control (Temporary Powers) Act, 1961, for a further period.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Kerala State Lt>gislature (Delegation of Powers) Act, 1!365 (12 of 1965), the President is pleased to enact as follows:-

1. Short tit/e.-This Act may be called the Kerala Essential Arti· cles Control (Temporary Powers) Continuance Act, 1967.

2. Amendment of section 1 -In sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Kerala Essential Articles Control (Temporary Powers) Act, 1961 (Kerala Act 3 of 1962) for the words ''five years", the words "seven years" shall be substituted.
