NOTIFICATION

No. H. 12018/154/2005-LJD, the 12thAugust, 2013. The following Act of the Mizoram Legislative Assembly, which received the assent of the Governor of Mizoram is hereby published for general information. The Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University (Mizoram) (Amendment) Act, 2013 (Act No. 10 of 2013)

{Received the assent of the Governor of Mizoram on the 25th July, 2013}.

AN

ACT

to amend the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University (Mizoram) Act, 2006 (Act No. 4 of 2006) (hereinafter referred to as the Principal Act). It is enacted by the Legislative of the State of Mizoram in the Sixty fourth year of the Republic of India as follows :-

1.

Short title and 1) This Act may be called the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts commencement of India University (Mizoram) (Amendment) Act, 2013.

2) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.

Amendment of Clause (XXVII) and (XXIX) of Section 2 of the Principal Act, shall be Section 2.- deleted.

3. Amendment of In Section 7 of the Principal Act - Section 7.- (1) In Clause (a), the words, "(Leading to the CFA Charter and Designation)"

shall be deleted.

(2) In Clause (e), the words, "The Council of Chartered Financial Analyst and" shall be deleted.

4. Amendment of In Clause (c) of Section 8 of the Principal Act, the words, "the CFA Charter Section 8.- and Designation," shall be deleted.

5. Amendment of For Section 31 of the Principal Act, the following section shall be substituted, Section 31.- namely :-

"31. The Board of Governors may, with the approval of the State Government make new or additional Rules or amend or repeal the Rules."

6.

Amendment of the The words, "The Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India" wherever Principal Act.- it appears shall be substituted by an abbreviation, "ICFAI".
