to extend the Assam State Acquisition of Zamindaris Act, 1951 to the Autonomous district of Garo Hills

Preamble. Whereas it is expedient to extend the Assam State A ssa m A c Acquisition of Zamindaris Act, 1951 to the Autonomous x v i l l of district of Garo Hills ; 1951.
I t is hereby enacted as follows :— Short title, 1. (1) This Act may be called the Assam State Acqui- extent and sition of Zamindaris (Extension to Autonomous District of men™61106" G a r O A c t > 1 9 5 3 ‘
(2) It shall extend to the Autonomous district of Garo Hills.
(3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may by notification in the official Gazette appoint.
Extension of Assam Act X V III of 1951.
2. All the provisions of the Assam State Acquisition of Zamindaris Act, 1951 shall extend to the Autonomous district of Garo Hills.
