No. GSR 261Con.-.t / \rt. 30Q,'78.-In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution of India and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Haryana her?by makes the following rules for regulating the recruitment and coaditions of service of the persons appointed to the Haryana Service of Architects, Class I, namely:-

PART I-GENERAL

(a} "Additional Chief Architect" means the ·Additional Chisf Archuect of th; Department of Architecture. Haryaoa, aod i1 elude, rw offker h ldir., a post c-f equivalent responsibility.

(b) "Architect" mean n officer incharge of an architectural unit and includes an officer holding a post of equivalent responsibrluy,

(c) "Cadre Post" means a permanent post held by a member of the service ;

"Chief A rchirect" mean, the Chief Architect of the Depart- ment of Arcbrtecrure, Haryana and includes an officer holding a post of equivalent responsibility;

(e) "Class II Service" means the Haryena Service of Architects, Clac; Jl;

(f) "Comrmssion" means the Haryana Public Service Commission:

(g) "Departmeilt" means the Departmeat of Architecture. Haryana :

"Direct recruitment" means an appointment made-otherwise than by promotion from within the Service or by transfer of an officer already in the service of the Government of India or anv State Government ;

(i) '' Ex-Cadre Post" means a· temporary post declared to be equivalent to a cadre post;
