Notification
The 20th March, 2018
No.Arch.-2018/6303.— In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution
of India, the Governor of Haryana hereby makes the following rules to further amend the Haryana Architecture
Technical (Group C) Service Rules 1990, namely:-
1. These rules may be called the Haryana Architecture Technical (Group C) Service (Amendment) Rules, 2018.
2. In the Haryana Architecture Technical (Group C) Service Rules, 1990, (hereinafter called the said rules), in
rule 2, for clause (a), the following clause shall be substituted, namely:-
“(a) “Commission” means the Haryana Staff Selection Commission;”
3. In the said rules, in rule 5, for the words “thirty years”, the words “forty- two years” shall be substituted.
4. In the said rules, in rules 9, in sub-rule (1); -
(i) for clause (f), the following clause shall be substituted, namely:-
“(f) in the case of Assistant Draftsman,-
(i) by direct recruitment; or
(ii) by transfer or deputation of an official already in the service of any State Government or
the Government of India;” and;
(ii) clause (g) shall be omitted.
(iii) clause (h) shall be re-numbered as clause (g).
5. In the said rules for rule 14, the following rule shall be substituted; namely:-
“14. (1) In matters relating to discipline, penalties and appeals, members of the Service shall be governed
by the Haryana Civil Services (Punishment and Appeal) Rules, 2016, as amended from time to time :
Provided that the nature of penalties which may be imposed, the authority empowered to impose such
penalties and appellate authority shall, subject to the provisions of any law or rules made under article 309 of
the Constitution of India, be such, as are specified in Appendix C to these rules.
(2) The authority competent to pass an order under clause (c) or clause (d) of rule 9 of the Haryana
Civil Services (Punishment and Appeal) Rules, 2016 and appellate authority shall be such as specified in
Appendix D to these Rules.
6. In the said rules, for Appendix A the following Appendix shall be substituted, namely:-

7. In the said rules, in Appendix B;-
