The following Act of the Andhra Pradesh Legislature
which was reserved by the Governor on the 8th April,
2015 for the consideration and assent of the President
received the assent of the President on the 13th
Novermber, 2015 and the said assent is hereby first
published on the 2nd December, 2015 in the Andhra
Pradesh Gazette for general information:-
ACT No. 21 OF 2015.
ANACT FURTHER TO AMEND THE CONTRACT
LABOUR (REGULATION AND ABOLITION) ACT,
1970 IN ITS APPLICATION TO THE STATE OF
ANDHRA PRADESH.
Be it enacted by the Andhra Pradesh State Legisla-
ture in the Sixty-sixth Year of the Republic of India, as
follows :-
1. (1) This Act may be called the Contract Labour Short title
(Regulation and Abolition) (Andhra Pradesh and
Amendment) Act, 2015. commencement.

(2) It shall come into force on such date as the
State Government may, by notification,
appoint.

Act, 1970, in section 1, in sub-section (4), in
clauses (a), (b) and the provisio thereunder, for
the word “twenty” the word “fifty” shall be substi-
tuted.
