sovernor on the 2" January, 2018 and the said assent is hereby first published on the

N ACT FURTHER TO AMEND Dr. Y.S.R..HORTICULTURAL
INIVERSITY ACT, 2007.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Andhra Pradesh in the
Sixty-eighth year of the Republic of India as follows:-
1 (1). This Act may be called Dr. Y.S.R. Horticultural University (Second Amend- Shovt ttleand
"ent) Act’ 20 1 7 commencement.
_ (2) It shall come into force on such date, as the Government may, by notification,
ppoint.

InDr. Y.S.R. Horticultural University Act, 2007, in section 26, in sub-section (1), Amendment of
ction 26.
(1) For clause (i), the following clause shall be substituted, namely,- AciNeo'_%"o of
“(i) Chief Secretary to the Governmént of Andhra Pradesh.” 2N
(2) In clause (ii), the following words shall be added at the end, namely,-
“Who shall be of eminence in the tEshere of Horticulture Science and shall
not be connected in any manner with this University or its colleges and shall
not be below the rank of Vice-Chancellor.”.
