The following Act of the Andhra Pradesh Legislature which was
reserved by the Governor on the 29" April, 2017 for the consideration and
assent of the President received the assent of the President on the
- 18" September, 2017 and the said assent is hereby first published on the
9" October, 2017 in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette for general information :-

/AN ACT FURTHER TO AMEND THE DENTIST ACT, 1948 IN ITS
APPLICATION TO THE STATE OF ANDHRA PRADESH
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Andhra Pradesh in
the Sixty-eighth year of the Republic of India as follows :-
1. (1) ThisActmay be called the Dentist (Andhra Pradesh Amend- ComShm°e“n‘c't'e'emean”t_d
" ment)Act, 2017 ;
(2) 1t shall come into force on such date as the State
Government may, by notification, appoint ' :

(1). Subject to the provisions of this section, an elected or nominated
member shall hold office for a term of five (5) years from the date of his
election or nomination
