- AN ACT FURTHER TO AMEND THE ANDHRA
- PRADESH PUBLIC LIBRARIES ACT, 1960
~ Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Andhra Pradesh in
the Sixty-seventh Year of the Republic of India as follows -

1. (1) This Act may be cailed the Andhra Pradesh Public Libraries Shon titie and
(Amendment) Act, 2016.
(2) It shall be deemed to have come into force with effect on and
from the 2™ June, 2014.
2. In the Andhra Pradesh Public Libraries Act, 1960 (hereinafter
referred to as the Principatl Act)
following new section shall be inserted namely:- _
mg’mz . 19-B. Every employee of Zilla Grandhalaya Samsthas
employees izt [shall retire from service on the afternoon of the last day of the
Cemenas. [month in which he/she attains the age of sixty years :
Provided that every empioyee of Ziila Grandhalaya Samsthas, who
retired from service on attaining the age of fifty eight years during the
interregnum period between 2nd June, 2014 and the date of
publication of the Andhra Pradesh Public Libraries (Amendment) Act,
20186, shall be re-inducted into the service/post as such with - effect from
the date of publication of the said Act -
