In s=2ction 2 of the said Act - (1) after clause (i) the following shall be inserted ~g clause {Jj) namely i 1 (तु) "Prodicsr Gas Flanti" means an appare- tus desigred for th- generation of gas and its supply to the engine of a motor vehicle, and inclu. des the vnole of the generator, pipes, coolers, filters and other accessories necessary for such apparatus. ' (2) the existing clauses (j) and (k) shall be remumbered as clauses (k) and (L) respectively. 3, In section 4 of the said Act, the following shall be inserted as sub-section (3)s namely :- g (51 Notwithstanding anything contained iu sub.sechion (1 ) and the first schedule to this Act the weisht of a Producer Gas Plant fitted to 2 motor vehicle shall not be taken inwo consi. deration in calculating the tax to be paid in respect -of such motor vehicls, and the owner of sucn a vehicle shail, from the date on which the Assam Act Assam Motor Vehicles Taxation (Amendment) Act, VI of 1944 comes into force, up the cessation cf the 1244 = ..Uta
