III OF 2005 (Received the assent of the Governor on 13th January, 2005) THE ASSAM TEA PLANTATIONS PROVIDENT FUND AND PENSION FUND AND DEPOSIT LINKED INSURANCE FUND Preamble Short title, extent and commencement. Amendment of Section 2. - SCHEME (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2004 AN ACT further to amend the Assam Tea Plantations Provident Fund and Pension Fund and Deposit Linked Insurance Fund Scheme Act, 1955. Whereas it is expedient further to amend the Assam Tea Plantations Provident Fund and Pension Fund and Deposit Linked Insurance Fund Scheme Act, 1955, hereinafter referred to as the principal Act, in the manner hereinafter appearing, It is hereby enacted in the Fifty-fifth Year of the Republic of India as follows :- 1. (1) This Act may be called the Assam Tea Plantations Provident Fund and Pension Fund and Deposit Linked Insurance Fund Scheme (Amendment) Act, 2004. (2) It shall come into force at once. 2. In the principal Act, in Section 2, in clause (d), for the figures and words “Rs. 5000/- (Rupees five thousand)” the figures and words “Rs. 6500/- (Rupees six thousand five hundred)” shall be substituted.
