(Received the assent of the Governor on the 21st May 1960) ASSAM ACT No.XVII OF 1960 THE ASSAM TEA PLANTATIONS PROVIDENT FUND SCHEME (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1960 (85 passed by the Assembly) [Published in the Assam Gagzette, Extraordinary, dated the 24th May 1960] An Act Surther to amend the Assam Tea Plantations Provident Fund Scheme Act, 1955. Preamble, WuEREAS it is expedient further to amend the Assam Tea Plantations Provident Fund Scneme Act, 1955, hereinafter called the Principal Act, in the manner hereinafter appearing ; It is hereby enacted in the Eleventh Year of the Republic of India as follows :— Short title, 1. (i) This Act may be called the Assam Tea extent aod Plantations Provident Fund Scheme (Amendment) commence- ८1 19 60 ment. 2 * (1) It shall have the like extent as the Principai Act. (घर) It shall come into force at once. Amendmect 9. In Section 2 of the Principal Act, clause (a) 9 OfAcsCsta‘Omn shall be deleted and the clauses (8), (c), (d), (¢), (f ), Act X of (g), () and (i) shall be renumbered as clauses (a), 1955, (b), (¢), (पी, (वो, (/); (है) and (k) respectively.
