WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the Assam Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1936, in the manner hereinafter appearing; It is hereby enacted as follows -— 1. (1) This Act may be called the Assam Motor Vehicles Taxation (Amendment) Act, 1939. (2) It shall come into force on the Ist April, 1939. (3) Ttshall have the like extent as the Assam Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1936. 2.
