Uttarakhand act 006 of 2003 : Uttaranchal (The Uttar Pradesh Nagar Nigam Adhiniyam, 1959) Adaptation and Modification Order, 2002 (Amendment) Act, 2003

Section 1. Short title & Commencement

1. Short title & Commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Uttaranchal (The Uttar Pradesh Nagar Nigam Adhiniyam, 1959) Adaptation and Modification Order, 2002 (Amendment) Act, 2003.

(2) If shall come into force at once.

Section 2. Amendment of Sub-section (3) of 45 of the Uttaranchal (Uttar Pradesh Nagar Nigam Adhiniyam, 1959) Adaptation & Modification Order, 2002

Amendment of Sub-section (3) of 45 of the Uttaranchal (Uttar Pradesh Nagar Nigam Adhiniyam, 1959) Adaptation & Modification Order, 2002.- Sub-section (3) of Section 44 of the Uttaranchal (The Uttar Pradesh Nagar Nigam Adhiniyam, 1959) (Amendment) Act, 2002 (hereinafter reffered to as the "Principal Act") shall be deemed to be amended as follows:-

State Election Commission shall obtain from all candidates a declaration in the form of an affidavit containing the following information and any other information it deems necessary and shall, except information contained in Clause(c) and (e), make public the same for the information of the electorate.

Section 3. Repeal of Uttaranchal Ordinance no. 2 of 2003

3. Repeal of Uttaranchal Ordinance no. 2 of 2003.- (1) The Uttaranchal the Uttar Pradeshy Nagar Nigam Adhiniyam, 1959) (Second amendment) Ordinance, 2003 (The Uttaranchal Ordinance no. 02 of 2003) is hereby repealed.

(2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the corresponding provisions of the Uttaranchal (Uttar Pradesh Nagar Nigam Adhiniyam, 1959) as amended by the Ordinance reffered to in sub-section (1), shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the corresponding provisions of the Uttaranchal (Uttar Pradesh Nagar Nigam Adhiniyam, 1959) as ammended by this Act, as if the provisions of this Act were in force at all meterial times.
