An Act further to amend the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies (Appointment of Special Officers) Act, 1991
Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Tamil Nadu in the Forty-sixth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-
Section 1. Short title and commencement
1. Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies (Appointment of Special Officers) Second Amendment Act, 1995.
(2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 21st day of July, 1995.
Section 2. Amendment of section 4
2. Amendment of section 4.- In section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies, (Appointment of Special Officers) Act, 1991 (Tamil Nadu Act ??? 1991) (hereinafter referred to as the ??? Act), in sub-section (2), for the words "four years", the words four years and six months shall be substituted.
Section 3. Repeal and saving
3. Repeal and saving.- (1) The Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies (Appointment of Special Officers) Second Amendment Ordinance, 1995 (Tamil Nadu Act ???) is hereby repealed.
(2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything dote or any action taken under the principal Act, as amended by the said Ordinance, shall be ??? to have been done of taken under the principal Act, as amended by this Act.
