An Act further to amend the Tamil Nadu Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) Act, 1987
Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Tamil Nadu in the Forty-sixth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-
* Received the assent of the Governor on the 7th April, 1995 and published in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, Extraordinary.
1. Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Tamil Nadu Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) Amendment Act, 1995.
(2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 11th day of January, 1995.
2. Amendment of section 33.- In section 33 of the Tamil Nadu Agricultural Produce Market ire (Regulation) Act, 1987 (Tamil Nadu Act 27 of 1989) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), in sub-section (1-A), for the words "four years", the words "five years" shall be substituted.
3. Repeal and saving.- (1) The Tamil Nadu Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) Amendment Ordinance, 1995 (Tamil Nadu Ordinance 1 of 1995) is hereby ???.
(2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done on any action taken under the principal Act, as amended by the said Ordinance, shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the principal Act, as amended by this Act.
