An Act to amend the Motor Vehicles Act, 1939, in its application to the State of Haryana.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Haryana in the Twenty-eighth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-

Section 1. Short title

1. Short title.- This Act may be called the Motor Vehicles (Haryana Amendment) Act, 1977.

Section 2. Amendment of section 64 of Central Act 4 of 1939

2. Amendment of section 64 of Central Act 4 of 1939.- In sub-section (2) of section 64 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1939, for the words "a whole-time judicial officer", the words "a judicial officer" shall be substituted.
