An Act further to amend the Himachal Pradesh Lokayukta Act, 1983 (Act No. 17 of 1983).

Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of Himachal Pradesh in the Forty-fifth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-

1. Passed in Hindi by the Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha. For Statement of Objects and Reasons see R.H.P. Extra. dated 19-9-1994, P. 2446 and 2448.

Section 1. Short title

1. Short title.- This Act may be called the Himachal Pradesh Lokayukta (Sixth Amendment) Act, 1994.

Section 2. Amendment of Seconds Schedule

2. Amendment of Seconds Schedule.- In the Himachal Pradesh Lokayukta Act, 1983, in the Second Schedule, in the proviso:-

(i) in clause (b), the word "and" shall be deleted; and

(ii) clause (c) shall be deleted.
