Haryana act 026 of 2006 : Haryana Municipal (Second Amendment) Act, 2006

Section 1. Short title

1. Short title.- This Act may be called the Haryana Municipal (Second Amendment) Act, 2006.

Section 2. Amendment of section 2 of Haryana Act 24 of 1973

2. Amendment of section 2 of Haryana Act 24 of 1973.- After clause (14) of section 2 of the Haryana Municipal Act, 1973 ??? called the principal Act), the following clause shall be inserted, ??? namely:-

"(14A) "Member" means a member of the municipal duly elected or nominated by the State Government;’

Section 3. Amendment of section 13A of Haryana Act 24 of 1973

3. Amendment of section 13A of Haryana Act 24 of 1973.- In sub-section (1) of section 13A of the principal Act,-

(i) in clause (b), for sign "" the sign "" shall he substituted;

(ii) clause (c) and proviso thereafter shall be omitted and shall be deemed to have been omitted with effect from 1st January, 2005, except in situations where the re-elections after removal have been held.

Section 4. Amendment of section 13D of Haryana Act 24 of 1973

4. Amendment of section 13D of Haryana Act 24 of 1973.- In section 13D of the principal Act, after the words "The provisions section", the ??? letter and sign "10A" shall be inserted.

Section 5. ???

5. ???.- After section 13D of the principal Act, the following section shall be ??? namely:-

"13E. Account of election ??? and maximum thereof-

(1) livery candidate at an election shall, either himself or by his election agent, keep a separate and correct account of all expenditure in connect ion with the election incurred or authorized by him or by his election agent from the date of filing, of nomination papers to the date of declaration of the result thereof, both dates incisive.

(2) The account shall contain such particulars, as may he notified by the State Election Commission in this behalf.

(3) The total of the sals expenditure shall not exceed such amount as may be notified by the State Election Commission from time to lime.".
