An Act to repeal the Gujarat Tax on Sale of Electricity Act, 1985.
It is hereby enacted in the Fifty-third Year of the Republic of India as follows:
Section 1. Short title
This Act may be called the Gujarat Tax on Sale of Electricity (Repeal) Act, 2002.
Section 2. Repeal of Guj. 5 of 1985
On and from the 1st April, 2002, the Gujarat Tax on Sale of Electricity Act, 1985 (Guj. 5 of 1985) shall stand repealed.
