Gujarat Municipalities (Amendment) Act, 1970*

An Act further to amend the Gujarat Municipalities Act, 1963.

It is hereby enacted in the Twenty-first Year of the Republic of India as follows:-

Section 1. Short title

1. Short title.- This Act may be called the Gujarat Municipalities (Amendment) Act, 1970.

Section 2. Amendment of section 6 of Guj. 34 of 1964

2. Amendment of section 6 of Guj. 34 of 1964.- In section 6 of the Gujarat Municipalities Act, 1963, in sub-section (4), for the words "twenty years" the words "thirty years" shall be and shall be deemed always to have been, substituted.
