This part implements section 9901 of the American Rescue Plan Act (Subtitle M of Title IX of Pub. L. 117-2 ), which amends Title VI of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 801et seq. ) by adding sections 602 and 603 to establish the Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery Fund and Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Fund.
