Md. Code Regs. 26.08.04.07 : DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENT — SUBTITLES 08-12 — WATER POLLUTION — Permits — Administration of Federal NPDES Program by the State

A. The Department shall administer the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) program as part of its own discharge permit system.
B. This administration shall be in accordance with:
(1) Environment Article, Title 9, Annotated Code of Maryland;
(2) This chapter; and
(3) The Federal Act.
