Codes R. & Regs. tit. 12 § 142-2.4 : DEPARTMENT OF LABOR — DIVISION OF LABOR STANDARDS — Minimum Wage Orders — MISCELLANEOUS INDUSTRIES AND OCCUPATIONS —2 - PROVISIONS APPLICABLE TO ALL EMPLOYEES SUBJECT TO THIS PART, EXCEPT EMPLOYEES IN NONPROFITMAKING INSTITUTIONS COVERED BY THE PROVISIONS OF SUBPART 142-3 —2.4 - Additional rate for split shift and spread of hours

An employee shall receive one hour's pay at the basic minimum hourly wage rate, in addition to the minimum wage required in this Part for any day in which:

(a) the spread of hours exceeds 10 hours; or
(b) there is a split shift; or
(c) both situations occur.
