The writ petition had been filed in the nature of mandamus seeking a direction to the respondent to raise the height of the high tension overhead

electricity line at the newly elected National Highway road surface and roadside drainage at T.P.M.Nagar Entrance Main Road, Virattipathu, Madurai.
2. We had directed compliance by raising electric line, since it is only to ensure public safety. We are today informed that the height of the electric wire had been raised. The learned Counsel for the petitioner also affirms that particular fact. The photographs had also been filed.
3. In view of the compliance of the directions, no further orders are required in this writ petition. The writ petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
