This is a civil revision that has been filed seeking to challenge the judgment and decree dated 29.11.1999 passed by Addl. Civil Judge (Senior Division), Patiala making the award rule of the court, to the extent of not granting interest from the date of decree till actual payment of the decreetal amount. The Punjab State Electricity Board had also challenged the award of the Arbitrator as well as judgment and decree dated 29.11.1999 passed by the Addl. Civil Judge (Senior Division), Patiala making the award rule of the court by failing separate FAO. By an order of the even date, the said FAO filed by the Punjab State Electricity Board has been transferred to the District Judge, Patiala for decision on merit, in view of the fact that Section 39 of the Punjab Courts Act, 1918 has been substituted by the CR-2179-2000 -2- decree or order of a Civil Judge (Senior Division) and Civil Judge (Junior Division) pending in the High Court, irrespective of the value of the original suit, shall be transferred to the District Judge exercising ordinary territorial jurisdiction. This civil revision has been ordered to be heard along with the said FAO. Under these circumstances, this civil revision is also transferred to the District Judge, Patiala for 19.02.2020 for a decision to be taken along with the FAO. Registry is directed to remit the entire record of the civil revision to the District Judge, Patiala forthwith. The civil revision stands disposed of accordingly.
