    Mahaboob Begum Sahiba Petitioner ( In S. A. No. 1970 Of 1917). v. Lal Begum Saheba And Others S (S 1, 2 And 3 In S. A. No. 1970 Of 1917).

We are prepared to follow the uniform course of decisions in this Court beginning with Narayanasami v. Natesa(1), (see also Somasundaram Chettiar v. Veluswamy Naicker(2), Venkataratnam v. Sankarayanna(3), and Muthu Bhattar v. Mrithunjaya Bhattar(4), and the opinion of Abdur Rahim, J. in C.M.P No. 2609 of 1920).

It not being disputed that a clerical error was made in the plaint in the description of item No. 1, we think that we have power to rectify that error in whatever subsequent record it is repeated by slip or inadvertence or mistake.

The petition is allowed. There will be no order as to costs.

    S. S.Petition allowed.
