Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and also
Mr.R.Janakiramulu, learned Special Government Pleader, who took notice on behalf
of the respondents.
2. A re'sume' of facts absolutely necessary and germane for the disposal
of this Writ Petition would run thus:
The grievance of the petitioner as found exposited from the affidavit
accompanying the writ petition as well as from the representation made by the
learned counsel for the petition is to the effect that the petitioner being a
licenced stamp vendor, submitted his accounts as per law; however, the authority
concerned found fault with it and temporarily cancelled his right to vend
stamps; wherefore, he preferred appeal before the third respondent, which is now
pending. Hence, this Writ petition for the purpose of directing the third
respondent to dispose of it as expeditiously as possible.
3. Heard the learned Special Government Pleader.
4. The prayer of the petitioner is innocuous and in my considered opinion
that the following direction is issued:
The third respondent shall do well to see that the appeal pending before
him, filed by the petitioner is disposed of within a period of six weeks from
the date of receipt of a copy of this order purely on merits.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
