Act
to amend the North East Frontier Technical University (NEFTUI Arunachat pradesh Act, 2014 (Act No.11 ot 20111
Be it enacted by the Legislature ofArunachal pradesh in the Seventy-third year of the Republic of lndia as follows: - 1. short title and commoncement : (1) This Act may be called the North East Frontier
Technical University (NEFTU)Arunachal pradesh (Amendment)Act, 2022. (2) lt shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Officlal Gazette.
2. Amendment of S€ction l4: ln the principalAct, for the existing entries in clauses (a), (b), (c), (d), (e), (0 and (g) ofsection .14, the foltowing shal be insene& "(a) The Visitor; (b) The Chancettor; (c) ThePro-Chancellor;
(d) TheVice-Chanceltor; (e) Pro-Vicechancellori (D The Registrar; (g) The Finance Officer, and (h) Such other otficers as may be declared by the statutes to be authorities and
officers of the University."
3. Amendment of Section 16: ln the Prlncipal Act, in sub-section (1) of section 16, the words "witf, the pior approval of the Visitof appearing in the last part of the sentenc€ shall be deleted.
4. Savings: Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act, anything done or any action taken under the provisions of the Principal Act prior to this amendment shall be valid unless revoked or annulled by the State Government.
