Act to provide for the postponement of Local Board Elec#ons
Preamble, WHEREAS it is expedient to postpone the Assam Local Board Elections due to be held before the 1st April, 1953.
It is hereby enacted as follows:- Short title, l. ( 1) This Act may be called the Assam Local Board extent and Elections (Emergency Provisions) Act, 1953. C()[[lmence· - ment. (2) It shall have the like extent as the Assam Auam Act
