(1) ^TheGeneral

Manager

of the

State

Transport Undertaking, any officer ^orother

employees specially empowered

by him in this behalf in

writing may,

either before or after^theinstitution ^ofthe

proceedings, compound ^anyoffence^made

punishable ^{by, or}

under, this Act.

(2)

Where ^an

compounded, the offender if in custody,
