Preamble. Whereas it is expedient to amend the Dibrugarh Assam Act University (Amendment) Act, 1967, hereinafter called ol
the principal Act, in the manner hereinafter appear ing ;
It is hereby enacted in the Twenty-third Year of the Republic of India as follows:—
1. (1) This Act may be called the Dibrugarh University (Second Amendment) Act, 1972.
(2) It shall come into force at once.
2. In Section 1 of the principal Act, for sub-section 3), the following shall be substituted, namely:—
“ (3) It shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from the 25 th March, 1971.”
