An Act. to provide for the repeal of the Lepers Act, 1898, as force in the State of Nagaland. Be it enacted by Legislative Assembly of Nagaland in the fortieth years of the
Republic of India as follows Short title extend and commencement. 1. (1) This’ Act may be called the Lepers (Nagaland Repeal) Act. 1989. (2) It shall extend to the whole of the State of Nagaland, (3) It shall come into force immediately, Repeal of Act 3 of 1898. 2. The Lepers Act, 1898 as in force in the State of Nagaland is hereby repealed.
