Preamble

An Act to repeat the West Bengal University Laws Amendment Act, 1976.

Whereas it is expedient to repeal the West Bengal University Laws Amendment Act, 1976 (West Ben. Act V of 1976);

It is hereby enacted in the Twenty-eighth Year or the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows:-

Section 1. Short title

1. Short title.- This Act may be called the West Bengal University Laws Amendment (Repealing) Act, 1977.

Section 2. Repeal of West Ben. Act V of 1976

2. Repeal of West Ben. Act V of 1976.- The West Bengal University Laws Amendment Act, 1976, is hereby repealed.
