Travancore-Cochin Lime-Shells (Control) Repeal Act, 1964*

An Act to repeal the Travancore-Cochin Lime-shells (Control) Act, 1956, in its application to the Kanyakumari district and the Shencottah taluk of the Tjrunelveli district.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the 3[State of Tamil Nadu] in the Fifteenth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-

Section 1. Short title

1. Short title.- This Act may be called the Travancore-Cochin Lime-Shells (Control) Repeal Act, 1964.

Section 2. Repeal of Presidents Act XI of 1956

2. Repeal of Presidents Act XI of 1956.- The Travancore-Cochin Lime-shells (Control) Act, 1956 (President's Act XI of 1956), in its application to the Kanyakumari district and the Shencottah taluk of the Tirunelyeli district, is hereby repealed to the extent to which that Act relate to matters with respect to which the State Legislature has power to make laws for the State.
