An Act to Amend the Tamil Nadu State Council for Higher Education Act, 1992
Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Tamil Nadu in the Fifty-fifth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-
Section 1. Short title and commencement
1. Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Tamil Nadu State Council for Higher Education (Amendment) Act, 1999.
(2) It shall come into force at once.
Section 2. Amendment of section 4
2. Amendment of section 4.- In section 4 of the Tamil Nadu State Council for Higher Education act, 1992, after clause (b), the following clause shall be inserted, namely:-
"(bb) the Secretary to Governor, ex-officio;"
