TAMIL NADU ACT 026 OF 1950

An Act to amend certain enactments for the purpose of charging the expenditure referred to therein on the Consolidated Fund of the State.

Whereas it is expedient to amend certain enactments for the purpose of charging the expenditure referred to therein on the Consolidated Fund of the State; It is hereby enacted as follows:

Section 1. Short title, extent and commencement

(1) This Act may be called the 1[Tamil Nadu] Consolidated Fund (Charged Expenditure) Act, 1950.

(2) It extends to the whole of the 4[State of Tamil Nadu].

(3) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st April, 1950.

1. These words were substituted for the word Madras by the Tamil Nadu Adaptation of Laws Order, 1969, as amended by the Tamil Nadu Adaptation of Laws (Second Amendment) Order, 1969.

5. Section 2 was repealed by section 2 of, and the First Schedule, to, the Tamil Nadu Repealing and Amending Act, 1955 (Tamil Nadu Act XXXVI of 1955).
