Indian Stamp (Haryana Amendment) Act, 1997*

An Act to amend the Indian Stamp Act, 1899, in its application to the State of Haryana.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Haryana in the Forty-eighth year of the Republic of India as follows:-

Section 1. Short title

1. Short title.- This Act may be called the Indian Stamp (Haryana Amendment) Act, 1997.

Section 2. Amendment of section 47A of Central Act 2 of 1899

2. Amendment of section 47A of Central Act 2 of 1899.- In sub-section (4) of section 47A of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899, for the words "the District judge", the words "the Commissioner of Division" shall be substituted.

SECTIONS
