An Act to Extend the Indian Easements Act, 1882 to those areas of the State of Orissa to which it does not Extend and to Enforce it in the said Areas

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Orissa in the Eighteenth Year of the Republic of India, as follows:-

Section 1. Short title

1. Short title.- This Act may be called the Indian Easements (Orissa Extension) Act, 1967.

Section 2. Extension of the Indian Easements Act, 1882 to the State of Orissa

2. Extension of the Indian Easements Act, 1882 to the State of Orissa.- The Indian Easements Act, 1882 (5 of 1882), shall extend to those areas of the State of Orissa to which it did not extend immediately prior to the coming into force of this Act and shall come into force in the said areas at once.

Section 3. Repeal of sections 25 and 26 of the Limitation Act, 1963

3. Repeal of sections 25 and 26 of the Limitation Act, 1963.- Sections 25 and 26 of the Limitation Act, 1963 in so far as they apply to State of Orissa are hereby repealed.
