Preamble

Gujarat Contingency Fund (Amendment) Act, 1970*

An Act further to amend the Gujarat Contingency Fund Act, 1960.

It is hereby enacted in the Twenty-first Year of the Republic of India as follows:-

Section 1. Short title

1. Short title.- This Act may be called the Gujarat Contingency Fund (Amendment) Act, 1970.

Section 2. Amendment of section 2 of Guj. IV of 1960

2. Amendment of section 2 of Guj. IV of 1960.- In section 2 of the Gujarat Contingency Fund Act, 1960 (Guj. Ord. I of 1960), for the words "fifteen crores of rupees" the words "twenty crores of rupees" shall be substituted.

Section 3. Repeal of Guj. Ord. 1 of 1970

3. Repeal of Guj. Ord. 1 of 1970.- The Gujarat Contingency Fund (Amendment) Ordinance, 1970 (Guj. Ord. I of 1970) is hereby repealed and the provisions of sections 7 and 25 of the Bombay General Clause Act, 1904 (Bom. I of 1904) shall apply to such repeal as if that Ordinance were an enactment.
