An Act to provide for the extension of the Employees Provident Fund and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952 to the Kohima, Mokokchung, Wokha, Zunheboto and Phek Districts in the State of Nagaland.

It is hereby enacted in the Thirtieth year of the Republic of India as follows:-

1 Received the assent of the Governor on 5th May, 1980.

Section 1. Short title

1. Short title.- This Act may be called and the Employees Provident Fund and Miscellaneous Provision (Extension to Kohima, Mokokchung, Wokha, Zunheboto and Phek Districts) Act, 1980.

Section 2. Extension of Act

2. Extension of Act.- XIX of 1952 to Kohima, Mokokchung, Wokha, Zunhebolo and Phek districts in Nagaland. The Employees Providenl Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952, shall as from the commencement of this Act, extend to the Kohima, Mokokchung, Wokha, Zunhebolo and Phek Districts in the State of Nagaland and shall come into force therein on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
