An Act further to amend the Chhattisgarh Sthaniya Kshetra Me Mal Ke Pravesh Par Kar Act, 1976 (No. 52 of 1976).
Be it enacted by the Chhattisgarh Legislature in the Fifty-eighth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-
Section 1. Short title and commencement
1. Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Chhattisgarh Sthaniya Kshetra Me Mal Ke Pravesh Par Kar (Amendment) Act, 2007.
(2) It shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Section 2. Amendment of Schedule-II
2. Amendment of Schedule-II.- In Schedule-II of the Chhattisgarh Sthaniya Kshetra Me Mal Ke Pravesh Par Kar Adhiniyam, 1976 (No. 52 of 1976) (hereinafter referred to as the Principal Act),-
For the entry (a) in column number (2) of serial number 22, the following entry shall be substituted:-
"(a) Pan Masala containing Tobacco".
Section 3. Repeal
3. Repeal.- Chhattisgarh Sthaniya Kshetra Me Mal Ke Pravesh Par Kar (Amendment) Ordinance, 2007 (No. 1 of 2007) is hereby repealed.
