An Act to further to ament the Chhattisgarh Mantri (Vetan Tatha Bhatta) Adhiniyam, 1972 (No. 25 of 1972).
Be it enacted by Chhattisgarh Legislative in the Fifty-fifth year of the Republic of India as follows:-
Section 1. Short title, extent and commencement
1. Short title, extent and commencement.-
(i) This Act may be called the Chhattisgarh Mantri (Vetan Tatha Bhatta) (Sanshodhan) Adhiniyam, 2004 (No. 19 of 2004).
(ii) It shall extend to the whole of Chhattisgarh.
(iii) It shall come into force from the date of its publication in the official gazette.
Section 2. Amendment of Section 4
2. Amendment of Section 4.- For Sub-section (1) and (2) of Section 4 of the Chhattisgarh Mantri (vetan tatha bhatta) Adhiniyam, 1972 (No. 25 of 1972) (hereinafter referred to as the Principal Act) the following Sub-sections shall be substituted namely:-
(1) There shall he paid to the Chief Minister seven hundred and eighty three rupees per day, to Minister seven hundred and sixty seven ??? per day, to Minister of State seven hundred-and fifty rupees per day, to Deputy Minister seven hundred and any two rupees per day and to parliamentary Secretary seven hundred and thirty three rupees per day as daily allowances during the term of their office.
(2) There shall be paid to each Minister, Minister of State, Duputy Minister and Parliamentary Secretary a constituency allowances of five thousand rupees per mensem.
