Section 1. Short title and commencement
1. Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University (Amendment) Act, 1992.
(2) It shall be deemed to have come in to force on the 27th February, 1992.
Section 2. Amendment of Section 43
2. Amendment of Section 43.- In the Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University Act, 1963 (Act 24 of 1963), in section 43, after sub-section (6-B), the following sub-section, shall be inserted, namely:-
"(6-C) Notwithstanding anything in sub-section (6-A), every such teacher or other employee who had exercised his revised option under sub-section (6-B) to revert to the service under the Government or the Osmania University, as the case may be, to which he belongs, but has not seen reverted is pursuance of such option, shall be given an opportunity to revise the said revised option within such period not exceeding two year as may be specified by the Government from the date of the commencement of the Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University (Amendment) Act, 9 of 1992."
Section 3. Repeal of Ordinance 3 of 1992
3. Repeal of Ordinance 3 of 1992.- The Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University (Amendment) Ordinance, 1992 is hereby repealed.
