UNITED STATES OF AMERICA BEFORE THE NATIONAL LABOR RELATIONS BOARD
DIVISION OF JUDGES
TRADER JOE’S EAST INC. and Case 09-CA-312856
TRADER JOE’S UNITED
ORDER
On August 12, 2025, the Respondent filed a motion for reconsideration of my July 15,
2025 Order denying the Respondent special permission to appeal Administrative Law Judge
Sarah Karpinen’s admission of General Counsel Exhibit 8 to the record. Because the Board
currently lacks a quorum, the motion has been referred to me pursuant to Section 102.180 of the
Board’s Rules and Regulations.
The Respondent’s motion for reconsideration is denied. Section 102.180 of the Board’s
Rules and Regulations provides that the Respondent can appeal my rulings on special appeals to
the Board on exceptions. The Respondent has not demonstrated that the arguments raised in its
motion cannot be addressed by the Board on exceptions, if necessary.
Dated, Washington, D.C., December 1, 2025
Robert A. Giannasi
Chief Administrative Law Judge
